Privacy Policy – BadBubbles Miner

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how personal and technical data of users of the mobile game BadBubbles Miner ("the Application") are collected, used, and protected. The data controller for the Application is Mariusz Gorzycki, based in Poland ("the Developer").

By using the Application, you acknowledge that your data may be processed as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Data we collect

The Application does not require users to create an account or provide personal details directly. However, due to the integration with third-party services such as advertising and analytics SDKs (Google AdMob and GameAnalytics), the following categories of data may be collected and processed:

  • Device identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID).
  • Approximate location data (country or region level, collected by advertising and analytics services for ad serving and analytics purposes).
  • In-app activity information (game events, interactions with the interface).
  • Error logs and diagnostic data (information about crashes, stability, performance, and technical errors).
  • Technical device information (device model, operating system version, screen size, language settings).
  • Analytics data (application usage, session duration, basic device information).

We do not knowingly collect or process special categories of data such as health data, data about political views, religion, or criminal records.

3. Purposes of processing

The collected data may be used for the following purposes:

  1. Analytics – analyzing Application performance, monitoring feature usage, and improving stability and gameplay (GameAnalytics).
  2. Advertising – displaying non-personalized ads within the Application (Google AdMob).
  3. Diagnostics and security – detecting and fixing errors, preventing misuse, and maintaining overall stability and security.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that would produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you.

4. Advertising and children

The Application is designed for a mixed audience and may be used by both children and adults.

In line with the Google Play Families policy, COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and applicable laws:

  • The Application displays only non-personalized ads through Google Play certified ad networks (Google AdMob).
  • Non-personalized ads do not use data for behavioral targeting or user profiles.
  • The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

The Application is rated "Everyone" on Google Play.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child in a way that is not permitted by law, we will delete such information as soon as reasonably possible. Parents or legal guardians can contact us at privacy@badbubbles.net to request review and deletion.

5. Legal basis for processing

Data processing is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), COPPA, and relevant platform rules (such as Google Play policies).

Depending on the situation and your location, we rely in particular on the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate interests of the Developer – for ensuring the proper functioning, security, diagnostics, and improvement of the Application, and for displaying non-personalized advertising where permitted by law.
  • Consent – in regions where consent is required for certain types of data processing (for example for advertising and analytics using cookies or similar technologies), consent may be requested through forms or tools provided by Google or other partners. When you give consent, processing for the relevant purposes is based on that consent and can be withdrawn using the same tools or your device settings.
  • Legal obligations – where we are required by law to store or disclose certain information (for example to comply with regulatory or consumer protection requirements).

Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object to such processing (see section 9).

6. Data sharing

Data is shared only with third-party services that are necessary for the functioning, analytics, and monetization of the Application:

  • Google (AdMob) – for displaying ads in the Application.
  • GameAnalytics – for collecting and analyzing usage statistics and diagnostics data.

We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7. International data transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such as the United States, where our third-party service providers operate.

To protect your data in the context of such transfers, our partners use legal mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses and other safeguards described in their privacy documentation.

By using the Application, you acknowledge that such international transfers may occur in connection with the use of third-party services as described in this Privacy Policy.

8. Data retention

Data is stored only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by applicable law. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

In particular:

  • Data processed directly within the Application (such as local settings or game progress) is stored on your device and remains there until you delete the Application or reset its data.
  • Data sent to third-party providers (such as Google AdMob and GameAnalytics) is retained in accordance with the internal policies and legal obligations of those providers. The Developer does not control the exact retention periods applied by these companies.

The criteria used to determine how long data is stored include, in particular: the need to provide and improve the Application, security and fraud-prevention requirements, and applicable legal or contractual obligations.

You may request deletion of data relating to you at any time (see section 10). In such cases, we will take reasonable steps to support or forward your request to the relevant third-party providers where this is technically and legally possible.

9. User rights

Depending on your place of residence and applicable law, you may have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right of access – to obtain information about whether data concerning you is processed and to access that data.
  • Right to rectification – to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to deletion – to request deletion of your data in certain situations (for example when it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected or when you withdraw your consent, if consent was the basis for processing).
  • Right to restriction of processing – to request limiting the processing of your data in specific cases.
  • Right to object – to object to processing based on legitimate interests, for reasons related to your particular situation.
  • Right to data portability – to receive certain data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to transmit it to another controller, where technically feasible and where this right is provided by law.

If you are located in the European Union, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For the Developer based in Poland, the competent authority is in particular the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO). 10. Data deletion

You can delete or request deletion of data related to the Application in the following ways:

  • Data stored on your device (such as local settings or game progress) can be removed by uninstalling the Application or clearing its data in your device settings.
  • Data processed by third-party providers (such as advertising and analytics services) is stored on their systems. If you wish to request deletion of such data, you should primarily contact those providers directly, using the contact details and procedures described in their privacy policies (for example for Google and GameAnalytics).

If you are unable to find the appropriate contact options or need assistance, you can also contact the Developer at privacy@badbubbles.net. In such cases, please provide enough information to allow us to identify the relevant data and provider where reasonably possible. We will take reasonable steps to support or forward your request to the appropriate third-party providers, where this is technically and legally possible.

In some cases, certain data may continue to be stored for a limited period where required by law or for security, fraud-prevention, or technical reasons.

11. Data security

The Developer and the service providers used in the Application implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data. These include in particular:

  • Use of encryption (such as HTTPS/TLS) to protect data in transit.
  • Limiting access to data to authorized persons and systems.
  • Regular updates and measures aimed at minimizing known security vulnerabilities.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data in line with current technical possibilities and industry practices.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, for example when:

  • the Application changes,
  • the services we use change,
  • applicable legal requirements or platform rules change.

In the event of material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this document and may display an in-app notice or update the information on the Google Play listing page.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Application after changes have taken effect means that you accept the updated version.
